Here at Mosaic, we are called to a ministry of passionate worship through acts of service and love. Our goal is for everyone here to be ever-changing, always growing and maturing in their relationship with God the Father and His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone who has ever attended a church service has probably heard that Jesus instructed us to love our neighbors, but we are taking a proactive approach to that command. We don't want to simply wait for people to walk through our church doors before we love them; we want to go out and reach them right where they are and share the love of Jesus Christ with them. We are truly blessed by all of the opportunities that the Lord has allowed us to have in serving both, our community here in Silver Spring and those abroad, and we give God all the glory, honor, and praise for what He has allowed us to accomplish for His Kingdom. There are many ways that you too can get involved in bringing His love to those that need it most. Here at Mosaic, we are always encouraging one another to reach out to others, but it is important for us to strengthen the bonds amongst ourselves as well. As a church family, we must maintain strong relationships with one another so that "we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another..." (Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV). As a result, we meet together often to get to know one another better and encourage each other in our walk with the Lord.
