where all your

pieces fit
Mosaic Community Fellowship was founded in October 2009 by a group of 12 believers.  Led by Pastor Mark Hamilton and supported by the 8 members of the Pastoral Leadership Team, Mosaic has grown considerably and is now comprised of more than five times the original number of members--and all within just five years!  So what makes Mosaic so special?  Our emphasis is on an all-encompassing love for one another, regardless of our differences.  In fact, we celebrate our differences from one another for, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17 NIV)

One major difference at Mosaic is that we are a bilingual church. Our music, our prayers, and our services are sung and spoken in both English and Spanish.  We don't separate because of this difference, but we celebrate it as one body of believers in order to give God the most glory.  "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.  We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us." (Romans 12:4-6 NIV)

Another difference that you will immediately notice upon coming to Mosaic is that we are not housed in a "typical" church building, but instead in a room over a warehouse.  This is something that many of our members have come to love about Mosaic.  It not only creates a more casual atmosphere but it also creates one of more equality.  Rather than having the Pastor and leaders of the church separated from the congregation, we are all integrated together in a spirit of learning and worship.

Finally, one exceptional difference at Mosaic is that we have believers, and non-believers, from all walks of life.  Whether you are a young agnostic just looking to learn more about God, Jesus, the Bible, and just what it is that all these Christians believe in, or whether you are a mature and learned believer in the Bible and our Lord Jesus Christ, you will feel right at home at Mosaic.  So please, come and join us. We'd love to meet you!

what we believe
We believe...

...in the unity of God existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

...God is the Creator, the King and Ruler, and Sustainer of all things.

...in the divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness of the Bible.  It is the supreme authority over every area of our lives as individuals and our life as a church.

...man and woman are created in the image of God, in high dignity, yet now under God's condemnation for their rebellion against His good and just authority.  Since the Fall, we are both guilty of and polluted by sin, which has affected us spiritually, intellectually, psychologically, socially and physically.

...in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who became a real human being in order to live a flawless life and die a painful death in our place.  Through His life, death, and bodily resurrection, He conquered sin and established His Kingdom among us.

...in the necessity of the indwelling Holy Spirit to make the work of Christ effective in the life of the individual.  The Spirit grants us repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ.

...we can escape the penalty and power of sin only through faith in Christ alone and not through any goodness or moral effort of our own.

...in the personal and triumphant return of Jesus Christ to Earth for final judgment and the consummation of His Kingdom.
